Improved security with automation testing now available on all plans

Software engineers Kit Foster and Natalie Altman recently unveiled an update that allows more streamlined end-to-end testing against deployments protected by Vercel Authentication. Now, all users can create a secret value that sidesteps authentication, setting it as an HTTP header or query parameter named x-vercel-protection-bypass. Critically, this update allows protected project deployment while also granting access to Checkly, Playwright, and other external services for CI/CD e2e testing. The developers have provided a guide on how to utilize this new Protection Bypass for Automation feature.
