Vercel Functions now have faster and fewer cold starts

The infrastructure of Vercel now maintains at least one function instance warm for production environments on paid plans in an effort to enhance application start-up times for low-traffic apps. This development builds on recent improvements aimed at accelerating the start-up of Vercel Functions, courtesy of their Rust power source and the newly added support for bytecode caching.
