PostgREST 12.2: Prometheus compatibility and statement timeouts

PostgREST has released version 12.2, introducing several enhancements in API and observability. The new release integrates Prometheus-compatible metrics for PostgREST's schema cache and connection pool, useful for troubleshooting instances such as starvation of PostgREST's pool for connections. The new version also supports setting custom timeouts per function and has made it a default feature for settings including plan_filter.statement_cost_limit and default_transaction_isolation. The number of rows affected by mutations can also be restricted to user-defined values with the introduction of the max-affected preference. PostgREST v12.2 is now available for new projects on the Supabase platform.
