Introducing Log Drains

Supabase has rolled out a Log Drains feature for all Team and Enterprise users. This enables developers to export logs from their Supabase products - Database, Storage, Realtime and Auth - to external services including Datadog and custom HTTP endpoints. This feature offers a unified observability inside existing monitoring systems, helps to build additional alerting and pipelines, and enables extended retention periods for compliance requirements. Users can set up Log Drains in project settings. The product is available for self-hosting and local development and comes fully integrated into the analytics and observability server, Logflare. This follows significant architectural changes to the analytics server, enabling versatile, efficient and scalable dispatching of log events.
